Day 4:

I arrived in Louisville, Kentucky yesterday afternoon and couldn’t get Jim on the phone. I checked my email to find that he was a 17-year old high school student in nearby Florence, KY who had been lying about his identity since we met. “A quick Facebook or google search would have told me that” he scolded. My heart was broken. My belief in love had betrayed me. But, like all my favorite rom coms keep telling me, love sneaks up when you least expect it.
