Day 10: Florists in Kentucky?

I called my dad last night after realizing I should stay here and asked for a $5000 loan. He said, loudly, HELL NO before putting my uncle on the phone who quietly transferred $2,000 into my checking account. I think I’ll get some part time work with some pool cleaners to help stretch that $2,000.
I’m spending today finding an apartment and getting both feet on the ground. There are flowers in Kentucky. I’m making it my new life’s mission to arrange them beautifully for people.
Maybe Jim is an asshole or a figment of my imagination or some kind of catfish, but I know flowers are real because I can touch them and smell them and in some cases eat them and they make people happy. Arranging them, by proxy, means that I make people happy!
